We are starting Pandemic Chic during a true global crisis… as a way for a Baby Boomer mom and her two adult daughters to do something fun together from their shelter-in-place homes located inconveniently far away from each other. While we’re embarking on this during a temporary and extreme situation, ‘Pandemic Chic’ somehow feels like a timeless metaphor for women’s daily lives. It might be our greatest strength and point of togetherness, that as women, no matter what is happening around us, at some point we say to hell with it, put on a cute pair of shoes (whether we could actually afford them or not) and soldier on. So Pandemic-Chic here goes.
